Larry Lane

Pastor

I traveled across country with my wife and children in 1992 to serve as the Senior Leader of Neighborhood Church. I have led Neighborhood to embrace a new identity and a new set of ministry values, while maintaining the original vision of impacting the North Valley with the Kingdom of God. My wife, Carol and I have been married over thirty years and have five adult children, three of them married, one engaged to be married, and one daughter-in-law preparing to share with them their first grandchild.

Ministries
Beyond the normal duties of preaching and shepherding a congregation, I am passionate about training and releasing people to extend the Kingdom of God in their sphere. I work with other regional pastors to assist and encourage them in their efforts to impact their cities with the Kingdom of God. I have also been blessed to be able to train pastors and leaders outside of our region and country with Kingdom principles for city reaching.

Education
Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion/Philosophy from Nyack College and a Master of Divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary.

Interesting Facts 

• I carefully planned the day of my birth so as to never forget it: 5/5/55 (now you can remember my birthday!). "Five" in the Bible is the number for "grace." Clearly, God knew I needed much grace.
