Core Classes

Our Core Classes contain information and teach skills needed by all Christians. We encourage everyone at Neighborhood Church to take these classes at some point in order to optimize their growth in Christ. There are five core classes, which are offered at various times throughout the year:

1. The Discovery – 6 week class covering the "basics"
2. The Lay of the Land – 2 week class on the vision, purpose and functioning of Neighborhood Church
3. Kingdom Living – 4 week class on what it means to be a part of God's Kingdom and to use your spiritual gifts and access the power of God's Spirit to bless others and change the world.
4. Dwelling in Christ – 4 week class for more mature believers on how to remain rooted in Christ in the midst of suffering, doubt, and life's demands.
5. Freedom in Christ – Weekend seminar that helps you breakthrough the hurts and hangups of your past so you can life free and minister powerfully for Christ.
