First Touch Ministries is a place for you to belong; 
A community of people who care and pray for you.

Who are we?      
We are Ushers, Greeters, Name Tag Greeters,
Information Secretaries, and Parking Lot Prayer Walkers. 

What is our purpose? 
To touch people’s lives with Jesus love and
kindness by providing a positive and friendly
first impression for everyone who attends
Neighborhood Church on a Sunday morning.

Why gather together?         
Everyone needs a ministry covering and in
these ministries, it is too easy to feel like you
are out there all by yourself.  You are reaching
out to hundreds of people every week, but who
is reaching out to you and your family?

What is the plan?

We want to organize an army of friendly
people who create opportunities to touch people
for Jesus.

The first line of action will happen in the
parking lot.  Teams of Intercessors will prayer
walk the parking lot praying for every car full
of people coming to our church.  They are like
Watchmen on the walls that pray for blessing,
harmony, unity, anticipation of God’s moving,
and open hearts.

The second touch will happen at the entrances
to the Dome. Teams of Greeters and Name Tag
Greeters will provide a warm welcome to
everyone who has come, especially those people
who are visiting.

The third touch will
happen in the Worship Center.  
Teams of Ushers will warmly greet
people and assist them in any
way possible to help them feel cared for and
informed.  They will be especially
alert to the needs of late comers,
visitors, and emergencies.

                         
The final touch comes from the Information
Secretaries.  They will be the central hub for
information and communication details. 
They will help people to feel informed
about our church and
comfortable moving around
our campus.

Every Sunday?    
Every week our the leaders of the teams get
together for our “Sunday Morning Huddle”
time. This is a time for the people
who are ministering that
morning to come together for
information, inspiration, and prayer.
