Greetings, my name is Amy and I love life. I love exploring new places and living life with others. I am honored to walk with the younger generation as they explore who God has created and called them to be. I was raised in Chico and consider it a great privilege to minister in my hometown. Most of my time is spent developing programs and events for junior high and high school students to enjoy one another and the Lord. Please come and discover what it means to live life to the fullest with us.
Vision:
I am passionate about seeing students walk in truth; whether that is in relationship with one another, their families or with the Lord. I love mobilizing students and adult leaders to minister to those around them and to helping students grow in their faith, in loving and honoring those around them and learning what it looks like to give their lives away.BIO:
I was born Amy Kathleen LeDuc on September 28, 1975 in Los Angeles. My family moved to Chico when I was one year old and I’ve had the privilege of growing up in our great city. I attended Chico Junior High, Chico Senior High and after a short stint in the bay area, transferred to Chico State and graduated with a degree in Recreation Administration. I then spent five years traveling the globe with Norwegian Cruise Line running the youth program. However, in 2000 I met a man worth sticking around for and three years later married my handsome husband Michael.I started working at Neighborhood Church with the high school group in 2001 and have enjoyed seeing two classes of students walk through their four years of high school. I have recently begun working as the ministry assistant for junior high as well and always enjoy seeing student begin to realize who they are and walk out who God has called them to be.
When not in my office coordinating weekly meetings, major events or meeting with students, I enjoy gardening or doing projects around my house, reading magazines at Barnes and Noble or laying in the sun reading a good book. I also work part-time as a waitress at Jedidiah’s restaurant and plan conferences for Executive Events. Wherever I am though, I can often be caught daydreaming of vacations to far off places where I can SCUBA dive and explore countries I have yet to see.
